The Maine Photography Show

(Presented by Boothbay Region Art Foundation)

MPS has been the annual premier juried gallery show of photography in Maine
in the 17th year now.

Call for Entry opens December 1st!

Please note that Call for Entry will close on January 14th, 2022 - a little earlier than usual.

We are pleased to present the photographer and educator
Reid Callanan as the juror for the 2022 show.
Reid is the founder and director of the renowned Santa Fe Workshops.

For the 2022 Show we are soliciting photos in the categories
Black and White, Color, Student, and Special Category (Home).

While the subject of your photo entry in the B&W and Color categories
is not limited to any theme or location,
the Special Category offers the opportunity to capture and present images of Home,
in the broad sense as the place or territory where one lives, humans or animals.
For more details click here.

The juror will select approximately 120 of the submitted photos
that will be exhibited at the BRAF gallery from April 9th to May 2nd.,
and as in previous years will also be available online at this website.

Thanks to the generous contributions from our Sponsors
we will be able to award prize winners of the 2022 Show for all categories
and a Best of Show with cash prizes similar to previous years.
